Hello there.

Welcome to my Author site, where I like to share my stories.

Some fun, some dark, some funny and some which, if I do it right may leave your throat dry and your stomach curled into a tiny, tight ball.

However, I already have a confession to make, dear reader. So come in close so I can whisper it to you.

I am not a real Author!

I have been making up silly stories and tall tales for my own children since they were small and would occasionally write down the ones which were a little too grown up for their gentle ears and eyeballs. That said, and given we now live in a post-truth, post-lockdown, no second-post hellscape, I figured it might not hurt anyone if I put a few more stories out in into the big wide world. Anyway, given you know where to find me now and know my real author secret, it's only fair you get to see what I'm working on.

If you look below, you can see the stories which have been drifting in and out of my consiousness recently, which have at least two chapters ready to read. You can read the first chapter without registering but if you like what you see and want to read on, then you can Register for a free reader account. You will get access to all of the released chapters, add stories you like to your watchlist, get notified when a new chapter comes out and follow along as the stories develop. All for free.

But, being a savvy internet user and by now probably realising there are no visible ads, no links to flashy online courses and no annoying gambling popups, you are likely thinking, where is the catch?

Well, confession time again.

As I said, I am not a real author. I am a full time worker-bee, a loving husband, a hands-on dad, a serial property do-er upper-er and I have hobbies and interests which fill up most of my days. So, when I get an idea for a story, sometimes I run with it despite it being well.. crap.

That is where you come in. With your reader Login you can help me out by adding comments, thoughts, criticism or encouragement as you see fit, chapter by chapter. You get a few moments of escapism from the crushing monotony of modern life and I get instant feedback from real people. Things like, is the story progressing too slowly, too fast, have I missed out crucial details or repeated myself? All of the things which make a story engaging or frustrating and which, as a writer, are absolutely crucial notes which I need to hear, preferably from the readers themselves.

I'm a big lad though, and I think I can take it.

Also, when each story is finished, I'll try and pull it together into a full book and make it available to buy online. And if you contribute to the development through your comments before it gets published, you get a mention in the eBook and Paperback version (so you might want to pick a clean-ish username).

So, take a look below and if you see something which piques your interest, have a read, join my reader community and let me know what you think.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
